Flutey returns

A key piece of the England team puzzle, in the shape of Riki Flutey, played his first game of rugby this weekend since injury and came through the weekend unscathed. He even set up the final try so this fills me with renewed hope for the upcoming 6 Nations competition.

I expect Johno will be true to form though and pick him on the wing or some such nonsense. My confidence is not high in the low eyebrowed one.

Who knows, with a 12 who knows what he’s doing and is actually a creative player (a la Will Greenwood), we may even get Jonny standing flat again and playing the rugby we long term Jonny lovers know he is capable of…..
